How we research and write
Our sources
- Published studies, guidance from public agencies and university extension services, and what product makers say about their own products.
- Where a guide relies on a public source for a fact, the source is linked in that sentence. General background isn’t linked line by line.
- A product’s benefits are described as the maker’s claims unless independent work backs them up.
How a guide gets made
Drafts are written with the help of AI tools and checked against our rules for claims we never make, such as promised results, timelines or invented testing. A member of our team then reads every page and either approves it or sends it back. We revisit guides when new information appears or a reader spots a problem.
Reviews and comparisons
We review products from the desk: the label, the official sales page, the refund terms and any published research. We don’t run lab tests or try products ourselves, and we never invent ratings, customer counts or testimonials. Every comparison lists the criteria it uses.
Septifix earns us a commission (see our affiliate disclosure). That never changes a fact: prices, refund terms and ingredients appear as the seller states them, and anything the seller doesn’t state is marked “not stated”. If another option, or no product at all, fits a reader better, we say so.
